Rylan, 33, is a well-known television personality, who has presented various different shows including This Morning, The Xtra Factor and Supermarket Sweep. He has presented with the likes of Ruth Langsford, Lorraine Kelly and Holly Willoughby and has had a very successful career, giving Rylan a net worth of £5million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Rylan and his husband Dan Neal, who sadly called it quits after six years of marriage in 2021, originally purchased their home as a bungalow.

They transformed it into a spacious, five-bedroom property where Rylan continues to live.

On Through the Keyhole, he said: “My best move was definitely buying my house just around the corner from my mum.

“It was a bungalow with a lot that we’ve converted into a five-bed Essex palais.”

Overall, sold prices in the town were similar to the previous year and eight percent up on the 2017 peak of £316,387.

At the time of writing, there are 98 properties for sale in the Essex town, with the most expensive on Rightmove on the market for £1,200,000.

There are a huge variety of homes in the town including mansions, detached homes and apartments.

According to Crime Rate, Stanford-le-Hope is the third safest medium-sized town in Essex, and is the 126th most dangerous overall out of the region’s 315 towns, villages and cities.

The town is surrounded by countryside and farmland, making it ideal for those wanting a mix of urban and rural living.

Early modernist author Joseph Conrad lived in the town from 1896 to 1898. More recent figures include Emma Robinson and comedian Phil Jupitus.

Another celebrity who also lives in Essex is Sir Rod Stewart, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, who resides with wife Penny in a 10 bedroom home.

The property is located in the large town of Harlow, situated on the border with Hertfordshire and London.

It is set in the heart of the Essex countryside and maintains a rural atmosphere with over one third of land use devoted to green spaces.

The town was built after the Second World War to meet England’s post-war housing shortage.

Other properties the singer owns include an oceanfront home in Palm Beach, Florida, which is reported to be worth £16million ($20million), which was purchased in 1995.

He also has a 20,000-square-foot mansion, found in a gated area on top of Beverly Hills, called Beverly Park.

The property is reported to now be worth around £48million ($60million).
