Caroline said the home can be enjoyed by family and friends all year round.

‘It’s beautiful in summer, but it’s really beautiful in winter when you get the fire going,’ she said.

‘At the same time, in summer all the doors are open and there are towels and surfboards, and barbecues. There was always space for someone else to stay over.’
