A dad has has shared an ‘embarrassing’ moment that sparked his weight loss.
Frazier Carroll, 30, was inspired to lose six stone in 18 months after his wife had to help him button up his trousers.
Self employed Frazier was on holiday with the mother of his five-year-old daughter, who he as been with for six years and married for two, when the embarrassing moment .
He told CheshireLive : “We were getting dressed up for a nice meal, and my wife had to button my pants up.
“There was a lot of tension in that moment, my weight had been an issue because I wasn’t able to contribute to the family in terms of school runs and showering my daughter because I couldn’t stand up for too long.

“I thought ‘wow, what am I putting my wife through, this is not a life for anybody to be living.
“That was the pivotal point. I was so big that I couldn’t button up my own pants to the point of embarrassment.”
Frazier was 27 stone during that time and pointed to his disability and childhood trauma for the reason why he gained as much weight as he did well into adulthood.
He said: “I’m registered blind so I technically can’t see properly.
“It all stems from having that disability and just self wallowing and blaming other people for it.
“From 16-years-old, I never left the house because of my anxiety and from anxiety depression comes,
“The whole shebang came crashing down on me and I just spiralled.”
Now he weighs around 20 stone, Frazier’s life has changed as he is able to be more of a prominent figure in his daughter’s life and he puts his remarkable results down to dieting and cycling.
He said: “I concentrated for 18 months on myself, I changed my diet and cycled, that was it.
“Cycling was low impact and didn’t cause any pain, I could just cycle my anxiety and depression away.
“Before this I never left the house, I couldn’t even take the bins out and never spent a day out with my daughter.
“In just one year alone, I’ve changed my whole life, not just a percentage but my whole life.

“I can do every day things, simple things like tying my shoe laces, doing the dishes or taking my daughter to the park.”
Five months ago he set up a weight loss group of fellow residents in Winsford, Cheshire, who were inspired by his story.
And will be going on a bike ride to raise money to go towards the class.
He told CheshireLive : “It started about five months ago, a lot of people were messaging me saying they couldn’t believe what I was doing and asking for advice.
“I found myself inviting people to train with me to alleviate their anxiety too, one thing led to another and now I run a boxing circuit class.
Just to have people there, talking, laughing and enjoying themselves, that’s what I want.
“I want to raise as much money as possible to basically get my own place, that’s the end goal.”
